Keep Track of Patients who have the Covid Vaccine
This new product of ours was created to address the needs of an existing client, so we thought it might be something that other medical practices would be interested in too.
Our client, Health Hub Launceston, called to ask if we had a printed solution to their problem of keeping track of patients who had already been vaccinated against Covid by their doctors. Once the vaccination has been administered patients are required to stay within the medical centre’s waiting room for 15 minutes, to ensure that if that have any immediate side effects that it is within the safe space of the medical practice.
The Launceston Health Hub is a large medical practice with an open plan waiting room. It is always very busy and it can be hard to keep an eye on which patients have received the vaccine, ensure they’re ok and advise them when they are able to leave the practice area.
The Solution
The Launceston Health Hub is a large medical practice with an open plan waiting room. It is always very busy and it can be hard to keep an eye on which patients have received the vaccine, ensure they’re ok and advise them when they are able to leave the practice area.
The medical centre came to us for a sticker solution to place on the shirts of vaccine recipients, so that they can see them easily by casting an eye around the waiting room.
Additionally they added a time field to the sticker, allowing them to calculate when that person is safe to leave.
Update: August 19, 2021. The Health Hub have since gone on to develop different stickers for those receiving their 1st and 2nd vaccines, AND which vaccine has been administered, Pfizer or Astra Zeneca, in aid of supervising their clients post vaccination.
